How To Dress In Your 30’s, 40’s 50’s and 50’s: Wide Leg Jeans

How To Dress In Your 30’s, 40’s 50’s and 60’s

By far one of the most frequent questions I get from my customers is, “Is this too young for me?”

We rarely worry about dressing too old, but we often worry about dressing too young. As we age and transition from one stage of life to the other, our style has to also change, but too often, I see women equating being trendy with dressing too young. This couldn’t be farther from the truth. To be “trendy” simply means you are keeping up with the current fashion trends. It in no way denotes a certain age group. It is very possible to stay trendy and age appropriate.

In this video, I show you how to take a trendy item like wide leg jeans and style them for each decade of age group. By simply changing the top and layers, you will see how you can make the same pair of trendy jeans work for women who are in their 30’s, 40’s, 50’s and 60’s.

You can watch this week’s Wednesday Wardrobing Video for the next installment in this series. When you watch live at 6 p.m. MST, you can ask questions of me and get immediate feedback. To watch live, you will need to join our Facebook VIP Group called Fashion Crossroads Fashionistas. It is a private group and requires a few short questions. If the time doesn’t work for you, I upload the videos onto my YouTube page as well.
